Since tonight is New Year’s Eve and tomorrow is New Year’s Day, the next few days’ puzzles will each be a bit more challenging “Qudoku”© puzzle set. In a Qudoku puzzle set, I give you one or two Word Sudoku puzzles or varying grid size; solve them, copying the circled, numbered letters into the quote grid to spell out the hidden quote.
Both of today’s quotes about New Year’s Eve are from American columnist William E. ("Bill") Vaughan (1915-1977) taking on the important question: Why do we stay up ‘til midnight?

Solutions first thing in the morning. And tomorrow also begins my parallel blog giving you State Sudoku puzzles--Qudoku puzzle sets spelling out U.S. state names and official nicknames, on the anniversary of the day each state gained statehood. I'm hoping that elementary school teachers who want to mix-&-mingle math (logic) and history might find these puzzles useful in their classrooms...
Happy New Year!
Thanks,
