Sunday Challenge: New Hidden Word Sudoku Puzzle for Sunday, 12/21/2008

Instead of the usual 9x9 grid size, Sundays you can take on the challenge of a 12x12 grid with internal 3x4 rectangles and a 12-letter hidden word or phrase. It’s tougher than the usual 9x9 grid, but far easier than the newspaper’s 16x16 “Monster” Sudoku!

Today’s Sunday Challenge 12x12 Hidden Word Sudoku puzzle is based on the letters in the anagram FLAP VERY STUN.

FLAP VERY STUN
Sunday Challenge: 12x12 Hidden Word Sudoku Puzzle
Each row, column and 3x4 rectangle contain the letters in the word or phrase exactly once
The hidden word or phrase is spelled down the diagonal

Solution in the morning. And please make sure you don't miss the series of Qudoku© puzzles I'll present you beginning Wednesday, the day before Christmas. Wednesday through Saturday of this week, I'll challenge you to uncover a series of quotes about Christmas, using Word Sudoku puzzles to supply the letters.

Thanks,
--Dave
