New KeyWord Qudoku Puzzle for Sunday, 2/14/2010

Happy Valentine’s Day! Today I’m presenting you the last of the almost-dozen KeyWord Qudoku puzzles I’m sharing. I have more, of course, but tomorrow is Chinese New Year’s, so for the rest of the month we’ll be exploring the 12 animal signs of the Chinese Zodiac.

First solve the Word Sudoku puzzles to generate letters to fill in the quote grid containing common sayings. Each saying contains the same keyword or phrase—but it’s not spelled out. After you’ve filled in all the sayings, guess their common keyword or phrase.

POUNDS
KeyWord Qudoku: 6x6 Word Sudoku Puzzle
Each row, column, 2x3 rectangle and set of circled cells contains the letters in the word exactly once

CREAMY
6x6 Word Sudoku Puzzle
Each row, column, 2x3 rectangle and set of circled cells contains the letters in the word exactly once

FLIGHT

Copy circled letters to the corresponding numbered cells in the quote grid to spell out each saying; then fill in the keyword common to all the sayings

Solution first thing in the morning.

Thanks,
--Dave
