This month’s “Top 10” list is only nine entries long: a list of words we don’t need in public relations, according to Jennifer Nichols, the co-founder and CEO of FlackList, a social network setting connecting journalists and public relations practitioners—what the website calls “The Journalist’s Little Black Book” (www.flacklist.com; read her blog at http://www.flacklist.com/browse_blogs.php).
Nichols blogged last August about these nine words in a post titled “9 words that don’t belong in PR” at http://www.prdaily.com/Main/Articles/9225.aspx. Her readers added another 14!
By the way, “PR Daily News” is Lawrence Ragan Communications’ collection of blog posts dealing with aspects of public relations, communications and marketing in the age of social media; if you’re a communicator you need to subscribe: visit http://www.prdaily.com/Main/Home.aspx.
