Extra (Words within) Word Sudoku Puzzles for Tuesday, 4/14/2020: "LARGE HINT"

It's Tuesday and we're all still staying home for our own protection from COVID-19—and the protection of our loved ones. So here's another installment of extra "Word within Word" Sudoku puzzles to give you something to take your mind off everything else for a short while.

This is a new variant of Word Sudoku, and I'm planning a series of books using it. Look for the first one later this year on my Amazon author page, www.bit.ly/WordSudokuBooks.

This week's extra puzzles are based on the nine letters in the anagram LARGE HINT. Each of the first 10 Word Sudoku puzzles uses eight of the anagram's nine letters and is labeled with the letter to OMIT; each of the last four puzzles uses all nine letters, forming different one-word anagrams. Three of the nine-letter words are common words; one is not.

In each puzzle, the hidden word spells down the shaded diagonal. And as always, the one rule is:

Each row, column, 2x4 rectangle (or 3x3 square) contains each of the letters

You can print this page and solve the puzzles with your pen or pencil. Or you can click on the label below each puzzle and solve it online interactively. Please let me know your suggestions for how you'd like to interact with the puzzle and its layout (comment on the blog).
