Today is Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday. Many states and cities in the U.S. used to celebrate it in America as a semi-official holiday--or at least note it. But now, for the most part, it’s combined with George Washington’s Birthday (February 22) into President’s Day, celebrated on the third Monday in February, which falls in-between the two leader’s actual birthdays. Actually, the third Monday can fall on any date between the 15th (when the 1st is a Monday) and the 21st (when the 1st is a Tuesday).
