New Word Sudoku Puzzles (Oxymoronic Qudoku!) for Tuesday, 10/7/2008

New Word Sudoku Puzzles (Oxymoronic Qudoku!) for Tuesday, 10/7/2008
We’re more or less halfway through our running theme of oxymoronic Word Sudoku puzzles, in a format I call “Qudoku” puzzles. Yesterday I presented some oxymorons you filled in by solving the Classic-sized 9x9 Word Sudoku puzzles. Today let’s explore some oxymorons that use 10x10 Word Sudoku puzzles to supply the necessary letters. That means 2x5 internal rectangles. I find this size puzzle grid almost always easy to solve pretty quickly.

Solutions first thing in the morning. We’ll continue our tour through different sized oxymoronic Qudoku puzzles tomorrow, using a 14x14 grid with 2x7 internal rectangles. Harder than 2x5, but easier than 3x5, which we will explore the day after tomorrow!

Thanks,
--Dave
