New Word Sudoku Puzzles (Qudoku!) for Saturday, 10/4/2008

New Word Sudoku Puzzles (Qudoku!) for Saturday, 10/4/2008

Today I’ll continue our theme of oxymoronic Word Sudoku puzzles, in a format I call “Qudoku” puzzles. Yesterday I presented you some 4x4- and 6x6-sized Word Sudoku puzzles whose solution supplied letters to reveal an oxymoron--a figure of speech that combines two usually contradictory terms into a new term with new meaning. Think “wireless cable,” “consistently inconsistent” or “sure bet.” Today we’ll take on oxymorons that use 8x8 Word Sudoku puzzles to supply the necessary letters.

Solutions first thing in the morning. We’ll continue our tour through different sized Oxymoronic Qudoku puzzles for the next week or so.

Thanks,
--Dave
