Presumably, we have more time to play Sundays, compared to weekdays. Or at least that's the presumption of our nation's daily newspapers, which publish bigger puzzles on Sunday. But I have trouble completing the 16x16 (4x4 internal squares) "Monster Sudoku" puzzle in my hometown newspaper, The Oregonian (Portland, OR). So *my* challenge for you, while still larger than the normal weekday 9x9 puzzle, is smaller than 16x16: It uses a 12x12 grid, with 3x4 internal rectangles...but need I point out that rectangles require slightly different thinking than squares?
