Late yesterday afternoon I published an "extra" daily blog entry, excerpting some short quotes published in Parade Magazine (http://www.parade.com/) from Barack Obama. At the request of the publication, the President-elect wrote a letter expressing his hopes for his two young daughters and explaining why he ran for President.
His letter eloquently expressed hopes all parents have for their own children.
Excerpt 1: "When I was a young man"
Excerpt 2: "And I realized ..."
Excerpt 3: "These are the things I want for you"
