Stars were seen in the heavens.Today the entire United States—and much of Central and North America—experienced a solar eclipse. First appearing along Mexico's Pacific Coast about 11:07 am PDT, the path of totality traveled across a swath of the US from Texas to Maine, and then on into Canada. NASA estimates almost 32 million people live in the path of totality. The rest saw a partial solar eclipse.
